Roster Freeze: Please check with your State Association for state specific deadlines.
US Youth Soccer Concussion Protocol: The US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships follows a concussion protocol. Please be advised that after a player receives a completed US Youth Soccer Concussion Form due to displaying signs and symptoms of a concussion, that player may not return to play until a signed clearance form from a medical doctor or doctor of osteopath who specializes in concussion treatment and management has been received. See complete protocol for more information [LINK].
Medical Release Clarification: The US Youth Soccer Board of Directors removed the requirement of requiring medical releases to be notarized at their September 2014 meeting. Medical releases do not need to be notarized; however, we advise teams to carry their medical releases with them for and during the Midwest Regional Championships.
Severe Weather Information: The US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships Committee and and staff will be constantly monitoring weather conditions using high-tech weather tracking equipment and lightning detectors. See complete protocol for more information [LINK]
