2017 SheBelieves Cup

SheBelieves BTN

The U.S. Women’s National Team is taking part in the second installment of the SheBelieves Cup, which features four of the top five international women’s teams in the world. The U.S. roster features many players who grew up playing competitively in US Youth Soccer Programs.

The 23-player roster features three players who won US Youth Soccer National Championships — Christen Press (2), Tobin Heath and Emily Sonnett. Press and Sonnett also won Golden Balls as the top offensive player, along with fellow National Team member Casey Short, who earned the honor when finishing as the runner-up.

US Youth Soccer ODP is well-represented on the team, as 21 of the 23 players took part in the program during their youth careers.

The U.S. opens the tournament against Germany at 7 p.m. ET on March 1 in Chester, Pa., (TV: FS1) before taking on England at 5 p.m. ET on March 4 in Harrison, N.J. (TV: FOX). The Americans wrap up the event by taking on France at 7 p.m. ET on March 7 in Washington, D.C. (TV: FS1).
